On July 10 "Rīgas mikroautobusu satiksme" takes over minibus routes No. 203, 204, 212, 212a, 218 and 263

As of July 10 company "Rīgas mikroautobusu satiksme" fully takes over minibus routes No. 203, 204, 212, 212a, 218 and 263 from company "Blands", which means that these routes will be now served by a new carrier.

Rīgas satiksme informs that schedules of the above routes will not change, and the price of tickets will also remain the same – 0.50 LVL. It should be also noted that all minibuses will accept e-tickets used in the public transport of Rīgas satiksme, which will enable a precise accounting of passengers.

At the same time, it should be emphasised that none of the discounts granted by Riga City Council will be effective in minibuses, and pupils, students, pensioners and disabled persons of group 3 will have to buy tickets at full price. The only exception is those passengers entitled to the discounts granted by the state. i.e. disabled persons of groups 1 and 2, disabled persons under the age of 18 years, as well as persons accompanying disabled persons of group 1 or disabled persons under the age of 18 years.

It is planned that the remaining minibus routes will be gradually taken over in 2013.
